Typesetting

This Gospel of John is typeset by Scribe Inc, a Philadelphia-based company that knows the ins and outs of Bible typesetting. It is 18 lines per page, line matching, in paragraph format.

Printing & Binding

There are very few printing shops in the world that can bind our edition of John’s Gospel at its unusually small size. After conversations with numerous Bible printers, we’ve partnered with R.R. Donnelley’s Asia facility to print and bind this edition. It is 170 pages, smythe-bound (stitch bound) at 16 pages per signature. The paper is regular paper weight (rather than thin Bible paper).

Very nice little Gospel of John

What a great little book. I purchased the debossed cover. It does also come with a small slipcase. Very well made, I slowly worked it, and it is now soft and supple. Does not quite lay open by itself, but that is ok, it may eventually.
For the price, it is a great deal and worth 5 stars. Only improvements I would make would be to make the reference in the corners a little larger. Also, gold, silver, or red on the edges would be a nice addition and I would be willing to pay for that upgrade.

Perfect

I was looking for a small Gospel of John and this is perfect. It is well made and small enough to fit in your pocket. The best part is that the small font print is easy to read, even without reading glasses which I use. I would highly recommend.

Very well made and the text size is large enough that my aging eyes can read it unaided. The leather feels very nice and the ribbon marker is great to have. This is the perfect size for carrying in a front pocket. I am looking forward to when the other three gospels are produced.

This tiny Gospel of John is great, it’s correct, easy to read. You can just place it in your pocket and carry it wherever you go. The font size is good. I would recommend this item for anyone who loves the Bible. God’s word is amazing, especially the Gospels and you can carry it around. Then if persecution ever comes, which it probably will at some point. This little Bible would be easy to hide and store than a regular size Bible. Can you come out with other individual books of the Bible. This is a great item and would recommend it
