John’s Gospel, DIY-bound WEB
John’s Gospel, DIY-bound WEB
A do-it-yourself-binding of the Gospel of John in the World English Bible translation, printed in the United States.
Have you ever wondered how well-made books are bound? Have you wanted to learn the craft of stitch-binding your own gospel? This edition of John’s Gospel is intended for aspiring DIY book binders. Our product is just the printed pages, loose-leaf, ready to fold and bind. We print and cut the paper, and you do everything else: folding, stitching, gluing, and binding.
This product does not provide an in-depth course on how to go from loose leaf paper to a finished book. For that, we recommend this affordable digital package at AnnesiBindings: St John's Gospel - Letter Version. Our print edition is very similar and fully compatible with that digital tutorial. When you combine these two, you get an expert step-by-step guide with the highest quality printing money can buy.
The ability to personally bind the good news of Jesus Christ by hand is not just therapeutic; it recovers a skill that we once possessed in greater numbers on Western shores. It equips you to read and distribute the gospel in your local village with nothing more than a few simple tools. It’s a far more wholesome way to spend your evenings than scrolling through social media. Join our publishing revolution as we return to the basics of real book binding in a world distracted with digital and artificial fakery. Learn the art and science of Scripture binding, and ensure that access to the Word of God continues. There is no feeling like holding a gospel that you have bound by hand!
Typesetting
This Gospel of John is typeset by Scribe Inc, a Philadelphia-based company that knows the ins and outs of Bible typesetting.
Translation
This printing of John’s Gospel is in the World English Bible (WEB) translation, a Byzantine Priority translation that is very similar to the Robinson-Pierpont Greek text. If you’ve never heard of this translation before, check out its FAQ or read it online for free. As a Byzantine Priority translation, the Pericope Adulterae (John 7:53–8:11) is presented in the WEB translation sans brackets.
Printing
We print on a professional Heidelberg press at a locally-owned printing shop in our home state of Oklahoma. This offset printer yields the same precision that we use for our Tiny Bibles. It’s an unbeatably clear, archival-quality image.

International Shipping
If your shipping address is outside the United States, our store puts the onus on you to pay import taxes and duties at the time of delivery, rather than charging you up-front at checkout, which means import taxes and duties are not reflected in the cost on this site. Our setup is technically known as delivered-at-place (DAP) incoterms. We’re sorry for the inconvenience. The software sticker price for intelligently computing, charging, and remitting import taxes and duties is prohibitively expensive at our size.
Return Policy
